These Series 40 general
purpose plastic valves are engineered for competitive
cost and reliable service in humidifiers, pneumatic actuation
systems, beverage dispensers and other equipment.
These plastic valves may be used with air, inert gas
and liquid media.
Operating Temperatures
The standard temperature range for these plastic valves
is 0°F (– 18°C) to 104°F (40°C)
for ambient temperatures and 0°F (– 18°C)
to 150°F (60°C) for the air, inert gas or liquid
media. We manufacture valves that tolerate much higher
or much lower ambient and media temperatures, please
contact us for more information.
Our Series 40 Plastic Valves have a burst pressure of
1000 PSI.
Electrical Characteristics
Our Series 40 Plastic Valves feature low power consumption
of only 5 watts for DC models and 3.3 watts for AC models.
Our plastic valve coils are available in a wide variety
of standard voltage configurations from 24 to 277 VAC
50-60 HZ and –6 to 120 VDC. We also readily manufacture
our plastic valves with special voltage demands on order.
Our Series 40 Plastic Valves have an operating speed
of up to 600 CPM (cycles per minute) and a life expectancy
of millions of cycles, dependant upon application and
lubrication.
